I have recently 'been volunteered' to manage a completely new age group within the Hurst Romans Football Club for those boys who are leaving primary school and heading off for secondary school this summer, so those who do not turn 12 until after August 31st.

I'd like to make an appeal to anyone reading the newsletter to be aware that we are actively recruiting. We would welcome any aspiring Pele from Hurst and beyond to consider joining Hurst Romans. This includes any new friends that local boys make when they start at their new schools, regardless of where they live, whether it be Woodley, Winnersh, Twyford or wherever.
