Harvest Festival 2007
St Nicholas Church, Hurst Sunday, 30th September 11.00am
A special service of HARVEST CELEBRATION for all the family
Like many churches, we are keeping this as 'Back to Church Sunday' which makes it
a particularly good time to come to church and bring family or friends. You will be
very welcome.
The church will be decorated for Harvest and harvest gifts are to go to 'Feed the
Children'. This year, their theme is 'Water’ and they are asking for washing
equipment such as flannels, soap, toothpaste, etc. They would also be pleased to
receive packets of dried food such as rice. Other produce will be made into parcels for
those in our community who find it hard to get out.
On Saturday, 29th September there will be a FAMILY BARBECUE at The Vicarage in
Church Hill. Again, everyone is very welcome. Tickets are available from Sue Payne
(0118 977 3466).
