Millennium Update
Both the May Ball and Jazz in the Park were very well supported and proved to be not only enjoyed by all,
but successful fundraisers as well.
We have a limit on numbers when using the Hall,
even with a marquee as additional accommodation, and the May Ball was a sell out.
Jazz in the Park is of course a different situation, where we have unlimited space,
and is a self-catering event.
This year saw the return of The Bernie Allen Jazz Band who proved to be as popular as ever.
The Jezz Cook Trio made their first appearance at Jazz in the Park and were also well received.
They will also be at the Horticultural Show.
We as a committee were very pleased with these two events, and feel certain
that those who attended them had as much enjoyment as we did.
We will have a stand at the Hurst Horticultural & Cottage Garden Show
(Saturday 21 st August 1999) should you wish to purchase any of our promotional
items, i.e. polo shirts, key rings, etc.
We also hope to have available H2k Celebration Selection Wine,
exclusively produced for us by Valley Vineyards.
An excellent wine to complement the H2k glasses!
The Hurst Millennium Diary is now available to purchase at £10.00,
and these are available from:
