Children from the age of 3 years upwards are welcome, with classes for all ages. There are also Sunday Family Specials, and Saturday events for children over 11 years. Calling all girls between 7 and 10

If you're interested in playing games, learning, and having fun, then the 1st Hurst Brownies is the right place for you, writes Caroline Speer (Kestrel). We meet every Thursday during term from 6 - 7pm in the Scout Hut near the Village Hall. The girls play games, do badge work and participate in an activity every week. We follow a programme that ensures there is always time left to play games. We have spaces now for girls aged 7 - 10 years, and if you're 5 or over you can put your name down on the waiting list.

For further information please contact Brown Owl (Mary Langdown) on 0118 934 xxxx or Kestrel (Caroline Speer) on 0118 934 xxxx. We would also like to hear from uniformed leaders or anyone else who is interested in helping. Hurst also has Beaver, Cub and Scout groups. Helpers are also needed for these groups. Call Pete Chapman on 0118 934 xxxx for more information.
