Poppy Appeal will rise with Band Concert
The South Lake Concert Band from Woodley will be in blowing up a storm
on 30 March in the Large Village Hall
to raise money for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
Hurst's Poppy Appeal total now stands at £2,904 this year
(which is due to end on 31 May),
and the concert is sure to take this figure over £3,000.
Tickets for the Concert are £5 and can be bought from
George Claridge, David Bye or any other RBL Committee member.
The Concert will start at 7.30pm and will include popular classics,
music from the shows, and popular military music including
The Dambusters March, Wings, and The British Grenadier.
