Hurst in flood

The floods in January, and at other times last year, affected most Hurst residents — some more disastrously than others — and the Village Society would like to receive pictures of flooding which demonstrate why Hurst is not suitable for more housing development.

The best ones (or at least the most-screen friendly ones) will be displayed on the website, and all of them will be kept on a CD archive. It doesn't matter how good the pictures are, as long as they show some flooding.

Road Closed

Pictures of waterlogged fields and gardens are just as (if not more) important than pictures of flooded roads. However, it is vital that we know where and when the picture was taken.

Webmaster Duncan Kendall can accept pictures in almost any form — negatives, prints, e-mail (jpeg or tiff preferably), or CD. Duncan will return any original media. Please contact him (0118 934 xxxx and e-mail) before e-mailing more than two or three pictures, because there may be a better way to send them.
