The View from Shute End...

Wokingham District Councillor Annette Drake reports

We have demonstrated exactly what a strong force we are in Hurst as you can see from the planning update above. Most notable is the battle we have won (bear in mind it is only a battle and not the war!) with the refusal of the application to make a new access into the field between Lodge Road and Tape Lane.

Another major success is that, through the co-operation of the Parish Council and the Hurst Village Society, we are getting closer to the time when we will have Vehicle Activated Signs (VAS) in Hurst (as outlined on the front page).
