Coffee Morning for Christian Aid Week
A successful coffee morning was held at
Stanlake Park Wine Estate
on Saturday, 12th May.
People relaxed over coffee in the wisteria hung courtyard, while stalls did a brisk trade in
plants, jewellery, books, toys, cakes and bric a bric. Just under £1,000 was raised.
Young artists
The lovely drawings for the
Hurst Horse Show and Country Fayre
were done by the winners
of the programme design competition held at
St Nicholas Primary School
in 2006 and 2007.

was interviewed on
BBC Breakfast News
on Sunday,
27th May about their new sparkling white wine launched at the English Wine Week. Peter
explained that there are over 300 vineyards in England, although only a few have wineries and
even fewer have the facilities for making sparkling wine with the champagne method.
