Hurst Horse Show

Are you interested in a really good day out for just £1.50 or 50p if you are a child or 0.A.P? Well the Hurst Horse show is for you. To be held on and 27th June, there will be a myriad of attractions to keep you entertained. Some highlights of the jumping events include the Jimmy Walker-Robson Memorial Trophy at 9.30 on Saturday where one of the fences will be a replica of HMS Osprey. Intermediate jumping at 11.30 which includes qualification for Swallowfleld show and a new event at 1.30 on Saturday based on the Olympic Qualifying event.

Throughout both days the Hurst Riders Club will be running the Clear Round Jumping event. Away from the horses many sections of the village will be represented including the village school with their maypole and children's fancy dress competition, The Royal British Legion parade on Sunday and many other stalls and games run by people from the village.

Other attractions include craft stalls, Birds of Prey, Traction engines and Go Karts, and of course Terrier racing at the end of each day. Bring your dog and enter into this none-too-serious event. New this year is a children's mini fair ground including inflatable helter skelter and bouncy castle. Hot and cold refreshments and a licensed bar will be available throughout both days so that you can recharge yourselves before launching back into the fun of the fair! There are many other attractions, too numerous to mention here so you can see it really is an event worth visiting.
